At a special ceremony held at the Psychology Lab of Villa College, the newly elected Psychology Association Executive Committee were officially appointed. The ceremony started with a presentation based on the events of the Psych Exposure Trip 2022, made and presented by a Bachelor of Psychology student. A trip where Bachelor of Psychology students got to visit mental health facilities and special needs schools in Sri Lanka. After the appointment of the executive committee, PAL Leaders (Peer Assisted Learning) were awarded certificates, an initiative by the Head of Learning & Support of Villa College, Ahmed Yasir. This is an initiative where students who do well in modules offer to assist peers in years junior to them. Psych students utilize this service regularly. The ceremony ended with a few remarks by the Vice Rector of Villa College, Dr. Ali Najeeb where noted the importance of Volunteer work and acknowledged the outstanding effort the Psychology Association has put into making it a great success.
