With the initiation of placing Diploma in Nursing students at Tree Top Hospital, Villa College, Faculty of Health Sciences have yet again achieved another milestone. 9 participants who are at leading positions of general wards and specialized areas took part in this workshop. The main aim of the workshop was to prepare the mentors to guide the mentees in achieving their clinical placement objectives. The workshop will prepare the mentors to establish a trusting relationship with accountability and responsibility towards their mentees. Problem based learning focusing on scenarios that arises within the mentor and mentee relationship with long term career development and professional growth was focused. Through this workshop, the participants will be able to identify the objectives of upcoming Diploma in Nursing students clinical posting.The workshop was conducted from 23rd -24th February 2021. The certificate was awarded to the participants by the Assistant Director of Nursing, Tree Top Hospital, Ms Nazeera Najeeb.
