The Faculty of Shariah and Law (FSL) and the Institute for Research and Innovation (IRI) at Villa College have partnered with the Human Rights and Gender Committee and the Westminster Foundation for Democracy (WFD) to launch a "Parliamentary Inquiry on Online Violence Against Women in Politics."

This critical initiative seeks to investigate the challenges faced by women in political spaces due to online violence and aims to drive informed policy recommendations.

The first meeting took place at the Majlis, where key stakeholders discussed the methodology, identified priority focus areas, and set objectives to guide the inquiry. This collaboration marks a significant step toward creating safer online spaces for women in politics and advancing gender equality within political participation.
