Villa College and ToSpace Pvt Ltd, India has signed Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on 24th October 2024.

The primary objective of this Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) is to establish a collaborative partnership between ToSpace and Villa College Maldives with the aim of empowering students through the provision of specialized services focused on space and technology education. This MoU hopes to create the opportunity to enhance the educational experience of students at Villa College by integrating innovative space-related content and technological resources into the academic curriculum. Some of the proposed activities and projects under the MoU include Space Lab and Technology Centre Research, STEM Kit, High-Altitude Launch Projects, Satellite Construction Workshops, Rocket Model Testing Session, Telescope Construction Experience, and Drone Model Construction Workshop.

The MoU was signed by the Founder of ToSpace, Adnaan M and Vice Rector, Dr Ali Najeeb, who was accompanied by the Dean, Centre for Postgraduate Studies and Director of Future Governance Mission, Dr Ibrahim Latheef, and Mr Margret Vijay, Director for Global Ranking Data Management & Analytics and Centre for Open and Distance Learning (CODL).
