Villa College has announced the courses introduced under the Skills for a Resilient Workforce Program. The courses introduced include National Certificate 3 in Inventory Management, Housekeeping, Lifeguarding, Watersports and Ticketing & Reservation. The duration of the courses is 16 weeks and are completely free of charge for participants. The courses were announced at a special press conference held at QI Campus today, 05th May 2021. Vice Rector of Villa College, Dr. Ali Najeeb and Director of the Centre for Foundation Studies, Mr. Ali Shareef joined the press conference. Dr. Ali Najeeb mentioned in his remarks, that it is a huge opportunity for students who are interested, to complete these free courses here in the Maldives. Furthermore, Dr. Najeeb highlighted that the courses will open various doors of opportunities for interested students.Director of Centre for Foundation Studies, Mr. Ali Shareef stated that having the opportunity to study free short courses, which is also set to provide students with an allowance of MVR 2000 every month during the course duration will give students financial assistance as well, while providing an invaluable prospect for the country's youth.
