Multicultural Night is one of the assessment tasks in English proficiency one module. This events provide students with the opportunity to learn about various aspects of different cultures. Main aim of the event is to enhance research and presentations skills amongst students. During the module the students are grouped and given a country to represent. Students design their stall representing their country and are dressed traditionally.They also present other features of the culture through foods, dances, songs, arts and many activities that represent their uniqueness. This is one of the most exciting academic events of the semester. The event encourages students to learn beyond classrooms and helps students develop soft skills such as communication, leadership and teamwork.
