The Faculty of Business Management conducted an industry speaker session featuring Mr. Ali Farish, a renowned banker, facilitated by Dr. Mir Hasan Naqvi Assistant Professor/Co-ordinator, Banking and Finance programme.

Ali Farish is a professional banker, currently working as a Head of Business Banking at the Bank of Maldives PLC. Before that, he worked at Habib Bank and his work spans more than 15 years of Experience.

In addition to his broad experience, Ali has completed his professional degree of Chartered Banker accredited by AICB.

Mr. Ali Farish highlighted the role of Banking in developing countries, he also explored the importance of FINTECH to students in the success or failure of Banking. Lastly some questions were raised about the opportunities in pursuing a career in the Banking world.
