Villa College Llb Students Win Jury's Award In The Saarclaw Mooting Competition

Villa College LLB students who participated in the Law Students' Conference & Colloquium 2019-2020 held in New Delhi from 21st to 23rd February, won the Jury's Award for the best memorial presented during the SAARCLAW Mooting Competition. Three students participated in this conference and competition, accompanied by a coach. The participants are, Mariyam Anna Shaheer, Mohamed Raishan Moosa, Affan Umar Ahmed and Uza. Shabab Rasheed as the coach.In addition to the competition, during the three-day event, two colloquiums (Students' colloquium & Coaches colloquium) were conducted by the organizers. The colloquiums were on the theme Commonwealth Comparative Constitutional & Public Law (3CPL) Colloquium on "Public Law & Good Governance". One of the student participants, Mariyam Anna Shaheer presented a paper on "Gender Equality under the Light of the Driving Force: Tourism Sector".This conference was a huge opportunity for the students to build connections with regional counterparts who are active in mooting and student legal initiatives.Villa College congratulates these students who showed exceptional quality and determination to be selected as the best in the region.
