General Entry Criteria

• 2 passes in A Level/HSC (At GCE A/L, a pass is considered E and above. HSC pass is considered C and above) OR

• Attainment of a Level 4 qualification in a related field OR

• Attainment of Level 4 Foundation Study Programme approved for the specific Diploma programme.

Diploma in Teaching (Early Childhood) will be awarded after the completion of the first year.

7. Play in Early Childhood Education

Year 3

1. Creative Movement and Physical Development

2. Quality Environment in Early Childhood Education

3. Introduction to Art and Craft

4. Research Methods III

5. Childhood Literature

6. Safety, Health and Nutrition in Early Childhood Education

7. Teaching Practicum II

8. Planning and Administering Early Childhood Programmes

Course Fee: MVR 3750 per month x 36 months

(MVR 2,308 per month under the government free degree scheme)
