The Diploma in Primary Teaching programme aims to develop reflective primary teachers who are adept in the key learning areas of the Maldives National Curriculum and are motivated and capable of inculcating values and competencies specified in the national Primary Curriculum. The programmes are designed to develop participants knowledge, skills, capabilities and attitudes in primary teaching and advance them to the second year of the degree programme.
General Entry Criteria
2 passes in A Level/HSC
(At GCE A/L, a pass is considered E and above. HSSC pass is considered C and above.) ORAttainment of a Level 4 qualification in a related field OR
Attainment of a Level 4 Foundation Study Programme approved for the specific Diploma programme
MVR 3,750 Per Month x 12 Months
